Well, the teens are out of school and another exhausting summer begins for those in youth work. First, be watching for massive spiritual maturity this summer. The day in and day out details can be overwhelming and often overshadow the spiritual strides being made. Second, pray for each teen daily. Physically get on your knees and talk to God about each teen by name. By the end of July the teen you would normally be ready to throttle will become a blessing. Third, keep a video journal. Tape the teens throughout the summer and have a summer review party at the end to relive where you've been and what you've done. We know you are going to be busy while accomplishing a lot for the kingdom during the next couple of months.
