01 :: Believe It Or Not
==============================
Have you heard people say, "It doesn't matter what you believe"?
You know what?
They are right!
It doesn't matter, because Philippians 2:10-11 says...
...at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Believing or not does not change the fact that EVERY knee is going
to bow before Jesus. It's not an option. It won't be a decision.
There won't be a discussion.
Of course, HOW you believe does matter.
The demons believe and tremble. But their faith and trust are not
in the Lord.
In this age of "anything goes" let's stress the importance of
believing IN Jesus.
Blessings,
Paul and Al

03 :: Help/Advice Wanted
==========================
A youth minister friend of Teen Life Ministries needs your input on
a very important subject.
His daughter got married a couple of years ago and is now pregnant.
The guy she married is a good young man but has a past. He served
seven years in a federal pen on drug charges. He has been drug free
for ten years but had a relapse a couple of weeks ago.
He was coming home from work and hit a deer. When a policeman
pulled him over to let him know he had a light out he ran a check
on his car. He found out he had a record and was on parole so he
asked to search the car. The young man told him he could and the
policeman found drugs. To make a long story short he has to go
before a federal judge Monday and the judge will decide his fate
for breaking parole.
The problem our friend has is how he and his wife should treat
their son-in-law. He will probably loose his job and he might be in
jail when his son is born. They love him but at this point are
frustrated and disappointed. Their daughter is alone in another
city but has to stay there and keep her job because of insurance.
Advice and prayers are badly needed.
We've already sent our thoughts of encouragement and suggestions
from the Word. What would YOU like us to pass along? Any thoughts?
