7. Don’t forget, stay in touch with the parents of your teens.
Keep them informed of everything going on in the ministry. Remember, their teens are their teens not yours.
8. Don’t forget to spend time preparing your lessons to be presented to your group.
Believe me, they can tell when you are shooting from the hip or if you pull an old stand- by devo off the shelf.
9. Don’t forget to use your teens when you plan an event or when you want to revamp the youth ministry.
It’s their ministry so allow them to have input. No, you don’t have to do everything they want to do but it sure gives them ownership to be involved.
10. Don’t forget the ultimate goal of your youth ministry. Never give up on trying to get your group to heaven.
Stay out late, get up early, pray, pray, pray, but get it done.
