01 :: Praise & Thanksgiving
======================================

[Note :: This week is participatory! Got Praise and Thanksgiving?
Please go to http://tinyurl.com/3f36e7 and enter YOUR praise and
thanksgiving to the Lord in the "comment" box.]

This past Sunday we didn't have a "sermon."

Part of the reason is that our preacher was out of town and I don't
preach - I'm more of a conversational teacher.

But...

The real reason is that THE CHURCH presented the lesson.  Early in
the week an email went out to our "family" that read: "Got praise
and thanksgiving? Please reply to this email with a note of praise
or thanksgiving to the Lord. It can be about any subject or topic."

The letters flooded in. There was SO MUCH to give thanks and praise
to the Lord for.

Those emails were divided into 4 categories based on the overall
theme of the email.

1. Church and Family
2. Grace and Salvation
3. Peace and Comfort
4. Power and Strength

During the service many of the emails were read and we praised God
with songs related to each theme. God was exalted and glorified
through HIS work in our lives.

Two things:

First, write your own letter of praise and thanksgiving to the
Lord. Pour out your heart to him.

Second, you can have a teen service just like the one above. Have
the teens turn in their praise and thanksgiving. Select worship
songs that relate. Spend an evening without a "lesson" on what we
need to do next to improve - but on how good God ALREADY is.

Blessings,
Paul and Al

03 :: Gas Problems?

Price of gasoline killing your budget?!

Check out how Nathan is saving money...

"Hey Paul and Al,

I want to thank you for the great service you offer through Teen
Life Ministries. It is truly amazing how many resources you have on
your site and how much time you have saved me. I know you do not
realize it but you are saving me a lot of money in GAS. I usually
make several trips to our local book store to search for material
but I had to cut that out because of GAS prices. It hit me one day
that for the price of a couple gallons of GAS I can get what I need
from you and not leave my office.

I also want to thank you for the way you reach youth ministers on
all levels, from volunteers to full-time veterans.

Thanks again for your awesome ministry and know that you are being
prayed for.

Nathan C."
