The response to our asking for prayer requests for your ministry has been incredible.
We were not able to respond to everyone personally, but we are praying for you
daily!
Our church is in the middle of VBS this week. It's a great time for the teens
to...
1. Serve the children of the church.
2. Take on leadership roles outside the youth group.
3. Be seen as an active part of the church.
What opportunities can you provide this summer to make the group more visible?
Have a BLESSED week!

Tip of the Week
Don't attempt to be "one of the kids." If you're an adult, be an adult. Just
be an adult who loves kids.
When we blur the lines of adulthood and adolescents the group may start to think
you're a pushover. Parents may think you don't really take the ministry seriously.
The leadership might wonder why they're have someone so immature doing God's work.
The church will believe that have the evidence needed to prove that youth ministry
is glorified babysitting.
Being an adult, however, does not mean you have to be a stick in the mud. You
can love kids, have fun, and teach them about Christ all at the same. The key
is ministering to them without becoming one of them.
